Nepal’s COVID-19 tally spikes to 243 after new cases confirmed today. Another 24 people were confirmed to be infected with the corona virus in Nepal on 13th May.
The number of people infected with Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Nepal has reached 243. According to the Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, corona infection was confirmed in 24 more people on Wednesday evening. Earlier, the corona was confirmed in two persons on Wednesday afternoon.
In the evening, Corona is from Rupandehi and Kapilvastu. All of them underwent RDT testing at the National Public Health Laboratory and the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Rupandehi.
So far, 243 potentially infected people are in isolation. 12,785 people have been kept in quarantine. According to the ministry, samples of 18,964 PCRs and 59,627 RDT methods have been tested till Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, 2236 people were tested for corona.
The joint spokesman said that the health condition of all of them is normal. Along with this, the number of corona infections in Nepal has reached to 243. Of them, 34 have recovered and returned home.
