In the last 24 hours, 1221 people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus (Covid-19). The infection was confirmed in 348 women and 873 men by testing 12,717 samples in laboratories across the country.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam gave this information in a regular press briefing on Sunday. At the same time, the total number of corona infections has reached 38,561 across the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 429 infected people have been found in Kathmandu Valley alone. Of them, 372 are from Kathmandu, 45 from Bhaktapur and 12 from Lalitpur.

Nepal Covid-19 Death Updates: The number of deaths due to coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in Nepal has reached 221. According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, 14 more people have died in the last 24 hours and the death toll has reached 221.

The deceased have been identified as 74-year-old Sunsari, 47-year-old Mahottari, 62, Bara and 72-year-old Kathmandu.

Currently, the number of active infected people in the country is 17 thousand 518. Of these, 10,612 are in institutional isolation and 6,900 are in home isolation. Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 267 more have been cured and the total number of cured has reached 20 thousand 822.

Today, there are 1,247 people in Province No. 1, 2,102 in Province No. 2, 4,370 in Bagmati Province and 480 in Gandaki Province in institutional isolation. Similarly, there are 1,097 people in Province No. 5, 360 people in Karnali Province and 956 people in Far-Western Province and 10,612 people in institutional isolation across the country.

Similarly, 17 people are being treated in ICU in Province No. 1, 38 in Province No. 2, 70 in Bagmati Province, 3 in Gandaki Province and 16 in Province No. 5. Similarly, 3 people in Province No. 1, 12 in Bamgati Province and 2 in Province No. 5 and 17 infected people are being treated on ventilators.

There are 490 people in Home Isolation in Province No. 1, 3,902 in Province No. 2, 1,950 in Bagmati Province and 18 in Gandaki Province. Similarly, there are 480 people in Province No. 5, 17 in Karnali Province and 49 in Far-Western Province and 6,906 in home isolation across the country.

Nepal Covid-19 Discharge Updates: 267 people have been discharged after recovering from coronavirus. Of them, 1,569 have been discharged in Province No. 1, 4,743 in Province No. 2, 1,023 in Bagmati Province and 1,707 in Gandaki Province. Similarly, 4,849 people have been discharged in Province No. 5, 2,083 in Karnali Province and 4,848 in Far-Western Province and 20,822 people have been discharged so far. There are 7,797 quarantines in the country.
