Another 274 people have been infected with coronavirus in Nepal on Thursday. In the last 24 hours, 274 people have been confirmed to be infected with coronavirus (Covid-19) in Nepal. Nepal covid-19 tally hits 19,547 with 274 new cases.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nepal has reached 19,547.
The highest number of COVID-19 49 cases were in Parsa, 41 in Kathmandu, 20 in Banke, 16 in Nawalparasi East, 14 in Dhanusha, 12 in Bara and Syangja, 10/10 in Jhapa and Dailekh, 9 in Surkhet, 8 in Bardiya, 6 in Mahottari and Baglung. Six people have been infected with coronavirus in Kailali, five in Dhading, and four in Dhading and Sarlahi.
Similarly, 3/3 corona cases in Kaski, Lamjung and Tanahu, Dang and Salyan, 2/2 in Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Sunsari, Morang, Udaipur, Rautahat, Saptari, Pyuthan, Nuwakot, Kanchanpur and Dadeldhura, Khotang, Dolakha, Chitwan and Nawalparasi, Gorkha. 1/1 covid-19 cases have been reported in Arghakhanchi, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Pyuthan, Mugu, Jajarkot, and Darchula.
Nepal Covid-19 Death tally: The number of deaths due to coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in Nepal has reached 52. According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam confirmed that only three people died due to corona on Thursday.
According to ministry spokesperson Gautam, a 45-year-old man from Morang’s Sunvarshi Municipality-8 died on July 30. He was brought to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan from Biratnagar on Wednesday after suffering from fever and respiratory problems. His PCR test revealed a corona-positive report on Wednesday. He died at the isolation of BP Pratisthan Dharan at 5.45 pm on Wednesday.
Similarly, a 70-year-old man of Birgunj Municipality-7 of Parsa died on Wednesday. He was diagnosed with heart and diabetes while undergoing treatment for pneumonia at a private hospital in Birgunj. He died at Narayani Hospital at 11 am on Wednesday. Corona was confirmed in him only on July 30.
Similarly, a 68-year-old man of Birgunj Metropolitan City-5 of Parsa also died on Wednesday. He was diagnosed with kidney disease on July 22. He was admitted to the National Medical College on July 29 after he could not be kept in isolation at Narayani Hospital. He died at 3 am on Wednesday while undergoing treatment.
Corona infection was seen in 210 people on Wednesday, 353 people on Tuesday, and 139 people on Monday. The death toll from the corona has risen to 52. Two hundred and twenty-seven people have been discharged in the last 24 hours. The total number of discharges has reached 14,248.
Currently, 5,227 people are actively infected across the country. Similarly, 52 people lost their lives due to corona. On Thursday, 6,304 samples were tested using the PCR method. To date, 363,648 corona cases have been tested using the PCR method. At present, there are 13,201 people are in the quarantines across the country.
