Nepal COVID 19 New Update: Another 156 people were infected with corona (COVID-19) in Nepal on Sunday. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of corona cases in Nepal has reached 17,658 so far.
In the last 24 hours, 3,741 people from 27 laboratories across the country were tested for corona infection using PCR method.
According to the ministry, 32 people were found infected in Saptari district on Sunday. Similarly, 24 people have contracted corona in Kailali, 23 in Sarlahi, 10/10 in Bardiya and Nawalparasi, 7 in Parsa, 6/6 in Kaski, Lamjung and Myagdi and 5/5 in Banke and Dang.
In Lalitpur, Sarlahi and Rautahat, Syangja, Rupandehi and Dadeldhura, 2/2 people have been infected. 1/1 infection has been reported in Sunsari, Siraha, Bara, Kathmandu, Morang, Makwanpur, Baglung, Parbat, Pyuthan and Salyan.
So far, 830 people have been infected in Province No. 1, 4,551 in Province No. 2, 856 in Bagmati and 1,381 in Gandaki. Similarly, 4,172 people have been infected in Province No. 5, 1,814 in Karnali and 4,054 in Far Western Province.
At a regular media briefing held by the Ministry of Health and Population on Sunday, spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that 58 people were discharged after recovering from the corona infection. So far, 11,695 people have been discharged.
There are three districts with more than 500 infected. According to the ministry, more than 500 people have been infected in Rautahat, Kailali, and Bajura. Similarly, Bhojpur, Panchthar, Rasuwa, Manang, Mustang, and Humla are the districts with zero corona infection.
According to spokesperson Gautam, 103 eople had been discharged during the period in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of those discharged has reached 11,637. At the same time, the number of Corona winners in Nepal has reached 66.12 percent. The death toll from corona in Nepal has reached 40 as of Sunday.
