Nepal COVID 19 Cases: The number of people infected with Corona virus (Covid-19) in Nepal has reached 16,531.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, the number of infected people has reached 16,531 in the last 24 hours after 108 people reported positive.
Among those corona infected are 1 from Sunsari, 1 from Jhapa, 2 from Saptari, 2 from Dhunsha, 4 from Siraha, 1 from Darchula, 2 from Doti, 5 from Kathmandu, 1 from Nuwakot, 1 from Sarlahi, 4 from Chitwan, 1 from Nawalparasi East, 1 from Makwanpur, 3 from Baglung and 2 from Sindhupalchowk. There are 2 from Myagdi, 2 from Gorkha, 4 from Kaski, 5 from Lamjung, 2 from Banke, 7 from Dang, 3 from Dailekh, 2 from Mugu, 18 from Surkhet, 16 from Bajhang, 4 from Achham, 2 from Bajura, 2 from Kanchanpur and 8 from Kailali.
According to the ministry, there are two cases in Province 1, nine in Province 2, 12 in Bagmati, 18 in Gandaki, nine in Province 5, 23 in Karnali and 35 in Far-Western.
The PCR reports of 255 on Wednesday, 204 on Tuesday and 180 on Monday were positive. According to the Ministry of Health, samples of 4,588 people have been tested in 25 PCR laboratories across the country.
At a regular media Nepal covid 19 cases briefing held by the ministry on Thursday, spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam said that 139 people had recovered and been discharged in the last 24 hours.
So far, the number of infection-free discharges has reached 7,811. According to the ministry, 271,145 tests have been done by the PCR method till Thursday and 4,588 tests have been done in 24 hours.
Currently, the number of infected people living in isolation is eight thousand six hundred and five. Similarly, the number of people living in quarantine has decreased to 24,425.
