IOE or the Institute of Engineering Entrance Exam (IOE) is an aptitude test conducted by Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Engineering (IOE) for admission to undergraduate and master’s engineering courses in more than 5 constituent campuses and 10 affiliated colleges.

IOE Entrance exam is conducted online with a computer answer sheet for a duration of two hours and the question paper consists of a total of 140 questions comprising 50 questions in Mathematics, 20 questions in English, 30 questions in Chemistry, and 40 questions in Physics. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice) only and each question carries one mark and there is also a negative marking too.

IOE Entrance Exam 2081 Schedule

TU IOE Entrance exam 2081 date has been announced soon.. The examination Center for IOE 2024 will be published later. There is no change in the Tribhuvan University IOE exam pattern and exam timings. IOE Exam admits card is expected to be issued soon after the end of the form submission date.

Students should note that there is no change in the examination centers or hall tickets allotted to the candidates. Candidates are advised to report at the allotted centers one hour before the commencement of the examination along with the IOE entrance admit card and any identity proof issued by the competent authority.

IOE Entrance Exam Syllabus

Tribhuvan University Institute of Engineering Entrance Examination Board has released the IOE exam syllabus Nepal for the entrance exam on 16th August 2023. Mode of Exam: IOE entrance exam will be held through online CBT mode.

Time Duration: 2 hours is provided to complete the paper.

Language Medium: Students can attempt the paper in English Papers: For B.E/ B.Tech course, IOE Paper is conducted. While for B.Arch & B.Plan admission.

IOE Model Questions Type: The questions present in the paper are of objective type. Also, as per the latest changes in the pattern of IOE Entrance, there are questions in which answers are to be made in numerical values.

IOE Entrance Exam 2081 Application Form

The application form will be available only in online mode on the official website entrance.ioe.edu.np. Candidates interested in applying for the IOE Entrance Exam 2081 need to fill out the application form to appear in the entrance exam. The process of filling out the IOE application form 2081 includes online registration, uploading scanned documents like photographs, signatures, citizenship, and payment of application fees.

An online application fee of Rs 2,000 is required for the entrance exam. The candidate must deposit the application fee in Siddhartha Bank Limited in order to qualify for the IOE entrance exam.

You can also deposit this amount using Siddhartha BankSmart, eSewa, Khalti, or Connect IPs. The Voucher No./Transaction ID No. must be entered into the online form. The candidate should also submit their voucher along with their fee, which must include the applicant’s name and date of birth. In the online application form, the voucher number must be specified.

How to apply for Engineering IOE Entrance Exam 2081 @ entrance.ioe.edu.np

Following are the complete step by step process for filling IOE Application Form:

  • Visit the website of IOE Engineering Exam entrance.ioe.edu.np
  • Select the payment gateway, then fill in all the required information accordingly and complete the transaction.
  • Upon successful completion of the transaction, print out the filled-out confirmation page and Fee receipt for future reference.
  • Now click on the ‘New Candidates registration’ link and fill out the IOE registration form with all required details including basic Personal details, Phone Number, Email, Date of birth, etc.
  • After submitting all details in IOE Registration Form, login into the application form with all required details.
  • Now fill the IOE application form with details like DOB, Personal Details, Academic Records, Address, Exam Center, etc.
  • The details filled by applicants in the IOE Entrance application form must be correct.
  • After submitting all required details in the engineering application form candidates will be asked to upload some required documents including a photograph, signature, SEE mark sheet 12th Marksheet, etc.
  • The documents uploaded by applicants in the IOE Application form must be within prescribed perimeters.
  • After uploading all required details, candidates will be asked to submit the prescribed application fee for IOE Entrance Exam.

IOE Entrance Result 2081

IOE Entrance Exam in Nepal is conducted by Tribhuvan University Institue of Engineering, the result of the Bachelor IOE entrance exam will be published online. The online application will be conducted by the authority for the IOE exam and the application will be released on time. Students will be able to check their IOE entrance result 2081 & rank letter through the online process only. An offline scorecard will not be sent to the students.

Candidates can check their IOE results online on the website entrance.ioe.edu.np. The student will be provided with an online link through which they can access their results by entering their login details (symbol number, date of birth, etc.). It will be available in the form of a PDF.

IOE entrance results will be published within the third week of January. Earlier TU IOE Entrance exam result 2081 list was expected around the mid of January but it will now be delayed until the end of January or starting of September 2024. Last year IOE Exam was held in October.

Details related to the TU IOE 2024 Eligibility

Students who have appeared for class 12 final examinations in 2024 or will appear for the board examinations in 2081 are eligible for the TU IOE entrance exam 2081. To be eligible for the IoE entrance exam, one must have secured at least 45 percent of the +2 Science or A Level or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and two papers of Mathematics (200 marks). A candidate who has appeared in the final examination of +2 Science or equivalent may also apply. More eligibility and requirements norms are elaborated below

  1. Nepali nationals and foreign are eligible to apply for the IOE entrance exam.
  2. There is no age restriction to take TU IOE Exam 2081.
  3. Applicants must have an Intermediate degree in any discipline in the 10 + 2 format from any recognized high school
  4. They must have passed the examination with the least C grades in each subject.
