Nepal PM KP Oli blames India for toppling his government

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the forces within India and Nepal are working to remove him from the post of Prime Minister even though he has compiled the map including the encroached land of Nepal.

Speaking at the event organized by the Madan Bhandari Foundation on Sunday KP oil said “We have corrected the map. We gave it a constitutional form. You might have heard from Indian media that the prime minister would be changed in a week or two. You might have heard intellectual discussions in India. This is how the Indian state mechanisms are active. Activism has increased in the embassy”.

“If someone says he will remove the prime minister,  No one should think that way, no one should hurry,” Prime Minister Oli said. “Nepal’s nationality is not so weak. Oli also said that although he did not want to remain in post, it was essential for the nation. Oli said that if he withdraws immediately, a wrong precedent will be set.

India is furious after the issuance of the map including the lands including Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura encroached by India. Oli has said that India has been playing a game for a change of government in recent days.

Though the government has tried to hold diplomatic talks with India on the border dispute, India has not responded.

‘The Prime Minister does not want to be in charge. But, if I step down now, a wrong precedent will be set ‘, Oli said,’ I will step down, but tomorrow, when someone speaks in favor of Nepal, he will step down the next day. Therefore, I should be in charge of the Prime Minister not for myself but for the country, not for today but for tomorrow.

PM KP Sharma Oli also said that he was removed from the position in 2016 just because he signed a treaty on trade and transit with China.

Oli said that we had not published the map by mistake. We will not back down from this. We take back our encroached land anyhow. It is not difficult to take back our land which has been ours for the last 204 years and has been encroached for 58 years. In the end, the truth will prevail. He has even revealed that there has been an increase in activities at embassies and hotels.
