Nepal Covid 19 Updates: The number of people infected with Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Nepal has exceeded 9,000 on Sunday.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, 421 people were confirmed infected on Saturday alone and the number of infected people has reached 9,026.
Of the 421 infected on Sunday, 64 were women and 357 were men. Out of the total 9026 infected, 820 are women and eight thousand two hundred and six are men.
Nepal Covid 19 Death Updates: The number of deaths due to coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in Nepal has reached 23. According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, a 69-year-old man of Chatrakot village municipality-5 of Gulmi died on July 19.
Spokesperson Gautam informed that the old man who went to India for treatment of paralysis and came to Nepal on June 8 died in the home quarantine on July 19.
According to Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam,, his PCR test came positive after his death. He was confirmed to have corona in a test conducted at Bhairahawa Laboratory on March 20. His body has been managed by a special team of the Nepal Army on June 20. Earlier, 22 people have died due to corona. Of the 23 corona deaths, four were women and 19 were men.
According to the ministry, 175,173 samples have been tested by PCR method and 262,174 samples by RDT method so far. In the last 24 hours, 6,008 samples have been tested from 22 laboratory PCR methods and 9,874 samples from RDT method.
According to the ministry, there are 94,928 people in quarantine and 7,231 in isolation. A total of 194 people, including 8 women and 186 men, were discharged on Sunday. So far, the number of Corona winners has reached 1772. Of them, 149 are women and 1623 are men.
