Nepal Coronavirus Updates: Seven death has been confirmed in Nepal due to coronavirus (Covid-19) infection. Karnali Pradesh Ministry of Social Development Health Division Chief Dr. Laxmi Narayan Tiwari confirmed that the PCR report of the deceased youth was positive.
One person has been confirmed dead in Dailekh due to coronavirus (Covid-19). The PCR report of the young man who died on Saturday morning in the quarantine of the electricity office in Dullu Muncipality has come positive.
The 35-year-old, who returned from Gujarat, India 10 days ago, is a permanent resident of Dullu Municipality-11. Dullu Mayor Ghanshyam Bhandari said that he died after having tea on Saturday morning. He is staying with 79 people in the quarantine. This is the first death due to corona in Karnali. Six people have already died in Nepal due to corona. The death toll has risen to seven. The number of infected people in Karnali has reached 78.
Corona virus (Covid-19) infection was confirmed in 189 people on the same day on Saturday. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of infected people has reached 1,401.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. So far, 66,729 samples have been tested from Vikas Devkota’s PCR method and 1,07,055 from RDT method. In the last 24 hours, 2,575 samples have been tested by PCR method and 1,577 samples by RDT method.
According to the ministry, 1,176 are in isolation so far. With 13 discharges on Saturday alone, the number of Corona winners has reached 119. Of the Corona recovers, 172 are men and 47 are women.
According to the ministry, 160 people have been infected in Province No. 1, 547 in Province No. 2, 45 in Bagmati and 20 in Gandaki. Similarly, 547 people have been infected in Province No. 5 and 211 people in Far-Western Province. The number of infected districts has reached 53.
