Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2080

Students desiring to apply for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship scheme 2023 2024 must go through the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship eligibility criteria given below to check if they qualify to apply for the MGSS 2023 scholarship scheme:

• The applicant must be a regular student of Class 11 in any recognized educational institution. A copy of the class 11 study certificate provided by the institution’s principal or head should be uploaded.

• Applicant must have secured at least 60% marks (aggregate) in High School (Class 10th) and must upload a class 10 mark sheet.

• The applicant must be a Nepali citizen. The applicant must upload a copy of his/her own or guardian’s citizenship certificate.

• Applicants who are disabled must submit a disability certificate issued by a Chief District Officer or Local District Officer or Municipal/Rural Municipality Chief to the effect.

Students selected for scholarship will get scholarship at the rate of 2,000/- every month. In order to be eligible for the scholarship for the second year, students must submit their certified certificate of class 11th along with a copy of their mark sheet authenticated by the educational institution’s headmaster or head of the department stating that they have passed the 11th grade and are now in class 12.

If the scholarship awarded student fails in the class 11th examination, then the student will not get the scholarship in the second year. Students are required to submit their educational documents between Kartik 15 and Mansir 14 2081 (November 30, 2024) at the embassy’s educational division or at the Indian Consulate General’s office at Birgunj or will have to submit it through [email protected] If the academic documents are not submitted, the scholarship will be canceled.

Documents to be uploaded for Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme Renewal Application

The students selected for the Golden Jubilee Scholarship will receive the scholarship amount as follows.

The scholarship will be maintained for the second year and the following years only after submitting a copy of the result sheet of each academic session as well as a certificate duly verified by the principal or the head of the educational institution that the student has gone to the semester of the next year of graduation and is continuing studies.

Applicants should submit their academic documents to the Embassy’s Educational Division or Birgunj by December every year should be submitted through the office of the Consular General located or through [email protected]. Scholarships will be canceled if the academic documents are not submitted.

• The Indian Embassy will have the right to accept or reject the application and to award or cancel the scholarship.
