Coronavirus Updates Nepal: The coronavirus tally in Nepal crossed the 55 thousand mark with 1,170 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. As many as 15 deaths were reported on Monday, taking the toll to 360. Of the 55,329 infections, 15,393 are active cases, while 39,576 patients have been discharged.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 10,878 samples were tested using PCR during this period. According to the ministry, 512 people have been infected with coronavirus in the Kathmandu Valley, of which 440 are from Kathmandu, 43 from Bhaktapur, and 29 from Lalitpur.
Corona infection has been confirmed in 9 people of Parsa.8-8 from Dhading and Doti, 7-7 from Jhapa, Nawalparasi, Palpa, and Dailekh, 5 from Achham, 6-6 from Dhanusha and Kapilvastu, 4 from Lamjung, 3-3 from Nuwakot, Kanchanpur, and Bajhang, Udapayur, Bhojpur, Saptari, Sarlahi, Nawalpur, Baglung, Syangja, Gulmi, Rolpa, 2-2 people from Jajarkot, and Salyan,1-1 people from Mahottari, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Arghakhanchi Kalikot, and Dadeldhura people have been infected with the coronavirus.
Similarly, 81 from Rupandehi, 70 from Kailali, 54 from Kaski, 46 from Sunsari, 45 from Dang, 39 from Surkhet, 34 from Siraha, 32 from Morang, 31 from Chitwan, 24 from Banke, 19 from Okhaldhunga, 18 from Kavre, 17 from Tanahun, 14 from Makwanpur, 12 from Bara and 10 from Gorkha.
Coronvirus Death Updates Nepal
Another 15 people have died in the last 24 hours from Corona. At the same time, the death toll has reached 360. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwar Gautam informed that five women and 10 men have died in Corona.
Two men, aged 40 and 70, have died from coronavirus infection in Morang. Similarly, a 61-year-old woman and a 77-year-old man in Kathmandu, a 62-year-old man, a 73-year-old man, and a 75-year-old man have died in Lalitpur, a 55-year-old man and a 73-year-old man in Bhaktapur.
A 23-year-old man from Ramechhap, a 63-year-old woman from Gorkha, a 63-year-old woman from Nawalparasi, a 55-year-old woman from Parsa, and a 47-year-old woman from Kapilvastu have died due to coronavirus infection.
Nepal Coronavirus Discharge Updates
In the last 24 hours, 879 people have been discharged after recovering from corona infection. So far, the number of those discharged has reached 39,576.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam the recovery rate of the infected is 71.5 percent
Currently, only 15,393 people are actively infected. Of them, 8,118 are in institutional and 7,275 are in home isolation. Of those infected, 179 are being treated in the ICU and 29 in the ventilator, the ministry said
