Coronavirus Nepal News Live Updates: The total number of coronavirus infections rose to 33,533 and the death toll soared to 164 on Tuesday.
In the last 24 hours, Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 855 people across the country. At a regular press briefing on Tuesday, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam said that the total number of infected people had reached 33,533 with the addition of 855 new patients.
During this period, a total of 11,327 samples tested in laboratories across the country confirmed the infection in 271 women and 584 men. So far, a total of 621,901 PCR tests have been done.
Coronavirus (Covid-19) Cases Nepal District Wise:
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the 855 coronavirus Nepal cases, 232 infected people have been added to Kathmandu Valley alone. There are 199 infected people in Kathmandu, 19 in Lalitpur, and 14 in Bhaktapur.
Similarly, 58 from Sarlahi, 45 from Doti, 44 from Rautahat, 43 from Morang, 42 from Dhanusha, 37 from Chitwan, 23 from Kapilvastu, 19 from Achham, 18 from Dang, 17 from Bara and 17 from Mahottari, 16 from Sunsari and 16 from Kailali, 15 from Banke and 13 from Kaski. Twelve people from Kanchanpur and nine from Rukum East and Bajhang have been infected.
8 from Dhading and 8 from Nawalparasi, 6/6 from Tanahu and Bardia, 5 each from Jhapa, Kavre, Kalikot, and Surkhet, 4/4 from Parsa, Nawalpur, Palpa, Pyuthan, Dailekh and Salyan, Saptari, Siraha, Dolakha and Rolpa. The reports of 3/3 people and 2 each from Solukhumbu, Makwanpur, Sindhupalchok, Gorkha, Pawart, Gulmi, Dadeldhura, and Vaitadi have also infected with coronavirus in Nepal.
One each people from Udaipur, Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Nuwakot, Lamjung, Baglang, Arghakhanchi, Jumla, and Mugu, have been infected with coronavirus.
Coronavirus Nepal Death Updates:
The number of deaths due to coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in Nepal has reached 164. According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, seven more people have died in the last 24 hours and the death toll has reached 164.
The Ministry of Health and Population said one woman and six men had died. The deceased have been identified as three from Kathmandu.
There are 71-year-old women, 74-year-old men, and 66-year-old men in Kathmandu. Similarly, there are 22-year-old men from Siraha, 68-year-old men from Parsa, 76-year-old men from Dhanusha, and 53-year-old men from Rupandehi.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, 313 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours and the total number of those who have recovered so far has reached 19,119.
Similarly, there are 14,250 people in isolation. Of which 5579 are in home isolation and 8 thousand 581 in institutional isolation. At present, there are 10,453 people in quarantine across the country.
