Nepal Coronavirus Updates: Corona infection has been confirmed in 334people in Nepal on Saturday. In the last 24 hours, an additional 334 people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus (Covid-19). According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the total number of infected people has reached 2634.
In a regular media briefing organized by the Ministry of Health and Population, the spokesperson of the Ministry, Dr. Vikas Devkota said that 334 more people have been confirmed infected. At the same time, the number of infected people has reached 2,634. Of them, 2,450 are males and 184 are females.
Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection was confirmed in 334 people on the same day on Thursday. Corona infections were confirmed in 201 people on Wednesday and 288 on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, 84,134 samples were tested by PCR method and 125,564 samples were tested by RDT method. In the last 24 hours, 3,867 samples have been tested by PCR method and 5,185 samples by RDT method.
According to the ministry, one people tested positive in Biratnagar, one in Birgunj, 18 in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, nine in the state’s public health laboratory, Hetauda, 16 in Laboratory of Pokhara, three in Seti Regional Hospital, 42 in Bheri, Dhulikhel Hospital and 15 in Rapti Institute of Health Sciences.
Similarly, 106 people tested positive in Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, 5 in Koshi Hospital, 8 in Provincial Hospital Surkhet, 93 National Public Health Laboratory, Kathmandu.
