Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology, or Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology, is an entrance test conducted by Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Science and Technology (IOST) for admission to BSc CSIT programs in over 50 colleges across Nepal.
The Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Kathmandu, will soon publish the list of BSc CSIT 2082 exam centres. The entrance exam is conducted at a national level for admission to participating colleges.

BSc CSIT Entrance Exam Schedule 2082

BSc CSIT Entrance Syllabus 2082
The entrance exam is paper-based with an OMR answer sheet, lasting two hours. The question paper consists of 100 objective (multiple-choice) questions: 25 in Mathematics, 25 in Physics, 25 in Chemistry, 15 in English, and 10 in Computer. Each question carries one mark.

CSIT Exam 2082 Registration @ entrance.tuiost.edu.np
The registration process for the BSc CSIT exam is online. The BSc CSIT 2082 application form will be available on the official IOST website www.tuiost.edu.np. Candidates must fill out the online application form to appear for the exam. Follow these steps to complete the CSIT application form:
- Visit the IOST CSIT website (www.tuiost.edu.np)
- Click on the ‘New Student Registration’ link and fill out the registration form with your personal details, phone number, email, and date of birth
- After submitting the registration form, log in to the portal
- Fill out the CSIT application form with your personal details, academic records, address, and exam centre
- Ensure all information provided is correct
- Upload the required documents: photograph, signature, SEE mark-sheet, and +2 mark-sheet
- Make sure all uploaded documents meet the specified requirements
- Pay the prescribed application fee for the CSIT Entrance Exam
- Complete the payment process using the available payment gateway
- After successful payment, print the confirmation page and fee receipt for your records
- Download and print the filled application form and keep it safe until the admission process is complete

BSc CSIT Entrance Result 2082
This exam is conducted by the Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), and the result of BSc CSIT will be published online. The application process is managed by the authority and released on time. Candidates will be able to check their BSc CSIT entrance result 2082 and rank letter through the online process only. An offline score-card will not be sent to candidates.
The entrance exam for BSc CSIT is to be held on 22 Kartik 2082 (November 08, 2025). The result date will be announced after the exam.
Eligibility Criteria for TU BSc CSIT 2082
Students appearing for +2 final exams in 2025 or those who have already appeared are eligible. More eligibility criteria are listed below:
- The candidate must be a Nepali citizen.
- There is no age restriction.
- Applicants must have a recognised +2 Science degree (or equivalent) with required subjects.
- Candidates must have passed with at least a ‘C’ grade in each subject (or equivalent qualification as per rule).
