Nepali Youth Dibesh Pokhrel, stage name Arthur Gunn, has entered the top 7 of the famous singing reality show American Idol. Singing his own version of the song “Kiss the Girl” from “The Little Mermaid from home in Murrieta, he has secured his place in the top seven.
On Sunday night’s show, which again featured singers acting from their homes throughout the country amid the coronavirus pandemic, “Idol” cut on its list of Top 11 performers to the top seven.
The Best 7 finalists were decided by audience votes collected after the Top 11 each performed from home last week. All season long, Arthur has continued to wow the judges — and last night was no exception.
He was the first of 11 finalists named to the Top 7 on Sunday night’s episode, again broadcast from the contestants’ homes across the country. Meaning that, if he gets enough audience votes, Arthur Gunn will be in the running to win the entire thing on next Sunday’s finale. Voting is open from now until 8 a.m.Monday.

Dibesh Pokhrel has been receiving praise from the judges since the audition for American Idol. That process is still going on. He is seen as a contender for the title of American Idol. In American Idol, he has introduced himself as ‘Arthur Gun’.
Dibesh, who went to the US for higher education in 2014, has been dedicated to music for only two years. He had gone to the United States after passing Plus Two in Management at S College Institute, Kathmandu.
Arthur Gunn, who has a high fan following in the ongoing American Idol, is being seen as a contender for the title.
