The National Curriculum Development Center and the Evaluation Council has come up with revised guidelines for Class 11 admission.

The National Curriculum Development Center and the Evaluation Council have removed the requirement to bring a minimum of ‘D Plus’ in English, Mathematics, and Science in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for admission to Class XI.

Admission Rules Revised for Class 11  Students

According to the director-general of the Curriculum Development Center Keshav Prasad Dahal, a meeting of the council held on August 26 in Kathmandu decided that students with an average grade point (GPA) of 1.6 in SEE Result would be allowed to study subjects other than physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics in class 11.

Which Grade Can Study Which Subject After SEE?

  1. To study science, you should have a 2.0 GPA as well as C plus in Mathematics and Science and D + in English, Nepali, and Social
  2. To study the management group, you should have a 1.6 GPA as well as D in Nepali, English, Mathematics, and Social Studies
  3. To study humanities, you should have a 1.6 GPA as well as D in Nepali, Social, and English.
  4. To study the education faculty in class 11, you should have a 1.6 GPA.
Admission Rules Revised for Class 11  Students

An official of the council said, “We have corrected the decision to bring both GPA 1.6 and D Plus in SEE as thousands of students will not be able to study in class 11.”

The National Planning Commission committee has also been formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Usha Jha. Dr. Usha Jha is also a member of the council.
