Nepal has recorded 1,041 new cases of Covid 19 in the past 24 hours, taking its total caseload to 45,277 With 9 fatalities reported on Monday, Nepal’s death toll has breached the 280 marks.
A total of 1,041 corona infections have been reported across the country. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection has been confirmed in 1,041 people in Nepal in the last 24 hours.Along with this, 45 thousand 277 people have been infected across the country.
Covid-19 Cases in Nepal DistrictWise
During this period, samples from 12,473 people were tested using PCR method and 1,041 people were confirmed infected. According to the ministry, corona infection has been confirmed in 408 people in Kathmandu Valley alone. Of these, 326 are in Kathmandu district, 45 in Bhaktapur and 37 in Lalitpur.
Similarly, 7-7 from Jhapa, Dhanusha, and Bardiya, 6-6 from Kavre, Dolakha, Baglung, and Gulmi, 5-5 from Ramechhap, Nawalpur, and Kanchanpur, 4 from Kailali, 3-3 from Udaipur, Tanahu, Salyan, Palpa, Jajarkot, and Dailekh. Infections have been confirmed in Okhaldhunga, Sindhuli, Salyan and Doti districts and in Ilam, Nuwakot, Parbat, Kapilvastu, Arghakhanchi, Pyuthan, Rolpa and Dadeldhura districts.
Similarly, 71 from Rupandehi, 62 from Banke, 45 from Chitwan, 41 from Siraha, 39 from Dang, 35-35 from Morang and Makwanpur, 26 from Mahottari, 23 from Kaski, 22 from Lamjung, 20/20 from Sunsari and Saptari, 17-17 from Sarlahi and Gorkha. Corona infection has been confirmed in 16 people of Bajhang, 13-13 people of Bara and Nawalparasi, and 10-10 people of Parsa and Dhading.
There are 17,870 people actively covid-19 cases in Nepal across the country. There are 799 people infected in Province No. 1, 325 in Province No. 2, 5,875 in Bagmati Province and 860 in Gandaki Province. Similarly, 905 people in Province No. 5, 330 people in Karnali Province, and 772 people in Far-Western Province are undergoing treatment in 9,866 institutional isolations across the country.
Similarly, there are 740 people in Home Isolation in Province No. 1, 3,831 in Province No. 2, 2,245 in Bagmati Province and 43 in Gandaki Province. Similarly, 952 people in Province No. 5, 36 people in Karnali Province and 157 people in Far-Western Province are infected with 8,004 people in Home Isolation.
There are 3 in Province No. 1, 28 in Province No. 2, 108 in Bagmati Province, 5 in Gandaki Province, 20 in Province No. 5 and 3 in Karnali Province and 167 infected people are being treated in ICUs across the country. Similarly, 24 infected people are being treated on ventilators across the country, including 1 in Province No. 1, 20 in Bagmati Province and 3 in Province No. 5.
Covid-19 Death Cases Nepal
The number of deaths due to corona virus (Covid-19) infection in Nepal has reached 280. According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Pvt. Jageshwor Gautam, the death toll has risen to 280 with nine deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry, three of the dead were women. The deceased have been identified as 43-year-old Morang, 52-year-old Makwanpur and 37-year-old Nawalparasi.
Similarly, three men from Kathmandu and three others have died. The deceased has been identified as 41, 59, and 65-year-old men from Kathmandu, said Gautam. Similarly, 75 men from Parsa, 78 from Mahottari, and 40 from Rupandehi have died due to corona.
In the last 24 hours, 15,066 corona-infected people have been discharged across the country. The number of those free from infection has reached 27,127. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the infection rate has now reached 60 percent.
Covid-19 Discharge Cases Nepal
So far, 2,343 people have been discharged in Province No. 1, 7,842 in Province No. 2, 2,351 in Bagmati Province and 1,717 in Gandaki Province. Similarly, 5,297 infected people have been discharged in Province No. 5, 2,279 in Karnali Province and 5,258 in Far Western Province and 27,127 infected people have been discharged so far. Similarly, 6,701 people are in quarantine.
